Eclectuals Presents: Story Time in the Garden
Bring your kids to a unique outdoor story time event where they can meet the featured authors!
Starting Sunday, May 21st, the Melrose Trading Post is collaborating with Eclectuals Book Market to bring you a lovely outdoor story time in Los Angeles! On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 10:30AM join a local children’s author for a reading of their book, along with a talkback session. LToya from Eclectuals is creating a magic reading chair, and a gorgeous book cart for children to take and share books.
We’re kicking off Story Time in the Garden with a homegrown author, Eno Georgette Inwek.
She’s a fantastic children’s author, a Melrose Trading Post boutique clothing seller, and an inspirational speaker and storyteller!

Moni Ritchie Hadley, a half-Japanese, military brat, bounced back and forth from the USA to Japan as a child. Daydreaming was her favorite pastime. Her experiences abroad inspired her forthcoming book, ANZU and the ART OF FRIENDSHIP, and her debut picture book, THE STAR FESTIVAL (Albert Whitman, April 2021), which received a starred review from the School Library Journal and other honorable mentions. She’s published in HighFive and Highlights Magazines for Kids, and as a lifetime learner, started the Write Kidlit Now! Scholarship for aspiring children’s writers. She hopes all children will find beauty, wonder, and delight in her characters and settings. Today, she lives in Los Angeles, where she turns her sky-gazing daydreams into stories for children.
