LA Get Down 2024 is here!
LA Get Down is our 8th annual month-long celebration of hip hop & spoken word in honor of National Poetry Month held at Greenway Court Theatre every spring. For each weekend in April, there will be many exciting events ranging from Hip Hop Ciphers, Writing and Performance Workshops, One-Man Shows, and more; all leading to the inkSlam Invitational, a poetry slam competition hosted by Da Poetry Lounge. With something for everybody whether you’re a poet, a writer, a hip hop artist, or just love to support and experience the local community of artists, we hope to see you there!
